Every Service has 'gaps' - periods when a musical interlude would help to join one action to another. This collection contains 140 such interludes ranging from four bars through to eight, sixteen and thirty-two bars.

They cover all the commonly-used keys and time signatures so that they can be joined to the piece that has gone before.

The majority may be played on manuals only, though many contain pedal suggestions.
